Under this pillar, NCG’s mission is to strengthen the negotiation capacity of diplomats and peace and security actors. Grounded in the SCHRANNER CONCEPT®, our trainings enable leaders to prepare effectively, apply key negotiation tactics, and engage with confidence at the negotiation table.

Under its Capacity Building pillar, the Negotiation Council Geneva is partnering with the Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean and the Geneva Water Hub on the initiative Empowering Women in Water Diplomacy in the MENA Region.
In a context of escalating conflict and fragility, water is not only scarce but increasingly weaponized, with severe consequences for livelihoods, health, and stability. Yet, despite their central role, women remain largely excluded from negotiation and decision-making processes.
This partnership addresses the urgent need to strengthen women’s leadership and negotiation capacity in conflict-affected settings. Grounded in the SCHRANNER CONCEPT®, our trainings provide practical tools to prepare strategically, navigate high-pressure negotiations, and manage deadlocks.
By fostering more inclusive negotiation processes, the initiative strengthens women’s negotiation skills across the MENA region, advances water diplomacy and peacebuilding in conflict-affected settings.
NCG’s mission is to strengthen the negotiation capacity of actors involved in peace processes, including diplomats, negotiators, and peace and security professionals. Grounded in the SCHRANNER CONCEPT®, our trainings equip participants to prepare strategically, apply proven negotiation tactics, and engage with clarity and confidence in high-stakes peace negotiations.
